Margaret died after 1860 sometime. Joseph married a second time, to Rebecca Jane Nicholson, on March 25, 1889. Rebecca was the daughter of James and Lucresa Nicholson. Joseph and Rebecca had at least 3 children, as follows:

Joseph died May 12, 1907 in Murray Co., GA. Rebecca died in 1940.
